A private memorial service will be held for Mrs. Eva Nell Edwards DuPriest, 74, of Bainbridge, and formerly of Jacksonville, Fla., will be held at a later date.

Born Sept. 24, 1935, in Newton, Ga., Mrs. DuPriest died on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Bainbridge Healthcare.

Mrs. DuPriest was a homemaker and former member of University Boulevard Church of the Nazerene in Jacksonville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” DuPriest; her son, Lloyd Farmer; and her brother, Jimmy “Buddy” Edwards.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Miller of Jacksonville, Fla., and Victor DuPriest of Lake Butler, Fla.; her daughter, Theresa Hall of Bainbridge; her sister, Jeannie Alday; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
