Funeral services for Nancy Leola Jones Patten Moore, 65, of Whigham, Ga., will be held Wednesday, June 23, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Cairo, Ga., with the Rev. Gerald Horne officiating.

Born Jan. 28, 1945, in Whigham, Ga., Mrs. Moore died on Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Ga.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and member of Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and caring for her chihuahuas.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death her parents and a grandson, Gunner Moore.

Survivors include her husband, J. David Moore of Whigham; her children, Dwight and Sheryl Patten of Whigham, Richard Patten of Mulberry, Fla., Ronald and Denise Patten of Locust Grove, Ga., Gerald and Lana Patten and Terald Patten, both of Cairo, Rhonda M. Atkinson, Wayne and Kim Moore and Scott Moore, all of Colquitt, Ga., and Larry D. and Diana Moore of Bainbridge; three brothers, 20 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, and other loved ones.

Clark Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
