A memorial service for Linda Swanner Vickers, 67, of Donalsonville, will be held Thursday, June 17, at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. James Scarborough officiating.

Mrs. Vickers was born in Donalsonville on Feb. 21, 1943, and died Monday, June 14, 2010, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Vickers graduated from Seminole County High School in 1961 and worked as a system analysts for the telephone company. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Colon Swanner, and one grandson, Benjamin Eric Bullock.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Vickers of Donalsonville; a son, Bruce Bullock of Donalsonville; four daughters, Gina McCracken of Dothan, Cindy Thomas of Donalsonville, Caroline Holtz and Marla Layton; one brother, Ladon Swanner Sr. of Colquitt, and five grandchildren.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
