Funeral services for Linda Smedley Harrison, 56, of Climax, will be held Tuesday, June 8, at Climax United Methodist Church with the Revs. Wayne McDonald and Tegler Greer officiating.
Interment followed at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Ken Harrison, Alan Harrison, Mark Harrison, Ricky Harrison, Jason Priest and Roger Nix serving as active pallbearers.
Born Jan. 6, 1954, in Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Harrison died on Saturday, June 5, 2010, near Climax.
Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Climax United Methodist Church and had lived in Decatur County most all her life. She graduated from Miller County High School and worked as a receptionist for Dr. David Beauchamp and as a sales clerk at Belk’s. She had previously worked with Amoco Fabrics for 24 years. She enjoyed flowers and traveling to Biloxi, Miss.
She is survived by her mother, Dasie Carter Smedley Koler of Bainbridge; her father and mother-in law, Buryl and Martha Harrison of Climax; her husband of 34 years, Keith Harrison of Climax; a daughter, Christy H. Marsh of Statesboro, Ga.; a brother, Russell Smedley of Daleville, Ala.; a sister-in-law, two grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
