Rosa Rambo

Graveside services for Rosa Mae Bell Rambo, 73, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, June 12, at 11 a.m. at Jonas Lobe Cemetery with Evangelist Carrie Bell officiating.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Christopher Freeman, Brian Freeman, David Thomas, De’Andre Thomas, Robert Freeman, Antwon Rambo, Kevin Rambo, Keith Cooper, DeTroy Cooper, Catavis Rambo and Rodrick Hall.

Born May 28, 1937, in Bainbridge, Mrs. Rambo died on Friday, June 4, 2010, in Dothan, Ala.

Mrs. Rambo was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and a member of God’s Tabernacle. She was retired from Elberta Crate and Box after working there for 17 years.

Survivors include her husband, Artis Rambo Sr.; two sons, Andre Rambo and Artis Rambo Jr.; four daughters, Debra Rambo-Freeman, Karen Cooper, Wyzatta Thomas and Alice Hall; a brother, Luther Bell Jr.; two sisters, Mary Dixon and Betty Lowe; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Bruton Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
