19 BC LPN graduates honored

Blakely—Nineteen Practical Nursing Program students from the Bainbridge College Early County Center and from the Bainbridge campus received pins in a traditional Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) pinning and candle-lighting ceremony at Early County High School Auditorium.
Receiving their pins were Bainbridge residents Yvette Dawson, Connie Glass, Veronica Harper, Veronica Hayes, Veronica Wiggins; Blakely residents Tamekia Bryant, Sara Howard, Jessica Love, Tiffany Tolbert and Shaneka Wimberly; Tammy Coleman of Bluffton; Kim Lovett of Boston; Keyonna Green of Calvary; Markesha Freeman of Colquitt; Mollie Tyson of Cuthbert; Marilyn Glynn and Tracy Moore-Whatley, both of Donalsonville; Sheila Wright of Edison, and Renee Kimble of Iron City.
Students assisting with the May 8 program included Tiffany Tolbert, who gave the invocation, Tammy Coleman, who welcomed those attending, and Markesha Freeman, who led the Nightingale Pledge.
Also on the program were BC President Tom Wilkerson, BCEC Director Joan Simpson, LPN Program Director Doris Carmichael, LPN faculty members Rachelle Andreu, Pat Browers, Haley Harrison, Gena Peterson, Nita Widener and BC faculty member Mary Glenn Grimes.
