Graveside funeral services for Raymond Omans, 67, of Cairo, Ga., will be held Thursday, June 3, at Whites Bridge Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Harrell officiating.
Burial will follow at Whites Bridge Cemetery.
Born May 31, 1942, in Perry, Fla., Mr. Omans died on Sunday, May 30, 2010.
He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and playing poker. He had lived in the Grady County area for the past 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Nina Lenora Powell Omans.
Survivors include three daughters, Valley Lambert of Climax, and Jacqueline Bishop and Mary Jo Amy Omans, both of Thomasville, Ga.; a brother, Harold Merritt of Monticello, Fla.; two sisters, Lena Johnson of Ranger, Ga., and Louise Calhoun of Madison, Fla.; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
