Wilkerson, Renfroe tourney champs

Ed Wilkerson of Sneads, Fla., pulled in a five-fish limit, tipping the scales at 25 pounds, 12 ounces Saturday, to win the angler championship in the FLW Bass Fishing League Bulldog Division Tournament on Lake Seminole.
Joseph Renfroe of Jasper, Ga., pulled in a five-fish limit weighing 21 pounds, 5 ounces to win the tournaments co-angler championship.
The tournament, sponsored by the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, featured two local fishermen finishing in the top 10 of the angler division.
Michael Conley of Bainbridge was sixth with a five-fish limit weighing 18 pounds, 8 ounces, and Brandon Ingram of Brinson was ninth with a five fish commit weighing 17 pounds, 2 ounces.
Angler champion Wilkerson reported catching his fish on artificial frogs around Lily pads.
Co-angler champion Renfroe reported catching his fish on a Texas rig and spinnerbaits around grassy wooded areas in the Chattahoochee River area of the lake.
Angler champion Wilkerson earned a check for $4,155 and co-angler champion Renfroe earned a check for $2,078.
