A memorial service for Michael Earnest Sheffield, 48, of Donalsonville, Ga., was held Tuesday, May 25, at New Hope Worship Assembly in Donalsonville, Ga., with Pastor Tony Buzcek officiating.

Born July 14, 1961, in Donalsonville, Ga., Mr. Sheffield died on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Sheffield attended Seminole County High School and worked in the seafood department at Publix. He was an active member of New Hope Worship Assembly and was involved with the children’s baseball programs.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Sheffield; two sons, Tommy and Mitchell Sheffield; four daughters, Tamara Sheffield, Tiffany Sheffield and Rebecca Sheffield, all of Donalsonville and Magen Greene of Crawford, Fla.; two brothers, Buster Sheffield of Jacksonville, Fla., and Joe Sheffield of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Angie Hand Bracero of Jacksonville, Fla., and Debbie Ann Parker of Tallahassee, Fla.; five grandchildren, Tommy, Joseph, Kayla, Neal and Carlos.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
