A memorial service for Mattie Lou Moore, 84, of Bainbridge, was held Sunday, May 23, at Southwest Baptist Church with Larry Harrell officiating.

A graveside funeral service for Ms. Moore was held Monday, May 24, at Baldwin Cemetery in Baldwin, Ga., with the Rev. Luther Williams officiating. Ms. Moore’s nephews served as active pallbearers.

Born Aug. 31, 1925, in Baldwin, Ga., Ms. Moore died on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge.

Ms. Moore was a graduate of Baldwin High School, Class of 1942, and was a retired worker with ITT Electrical Division. She was a member of Southwest Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Josephine Gibson of Hortense, Ga.; her brothers, Odis Moore of Newton, Ala., and Tony Moore of Headland, Ala.; her sister-in-law, Virginia Moore of Bainbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
