Future Bearcat camps begin May 31

The 11th annual Future Bainbridge High School Bearcat Summer Baseball Camps will begin May 31 at the new Bainbridge High School Baseball Field.
The camps, which will be instructed by current Bearcat players and coaches, are sponsored by the Bearcat Dugout Club.
The Bearcats just completed an outstanding 2010 season in which they finished a strong second in Region 1AAAA South.
The first camp will be a Monday, May 31 and Tuesday June 1 fundamentals camp for 7-to-14-year-olds. The hours are 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Hitting instruction will be included.
A pitcher and catcher camp for 9-to-14-year-olds will be Monday and Tuesday June 7 and 8 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. The cost is $50 per camp.
Camp directors are Bearcats head coach Scott Miller and coach Kevin Bearden.

Campers should bring their own gloves, bats, cleats and other equipment.
“We want the campers to have some fun while learning the fundamentals of the game,” coach Miller said.
