The championship round of an area karaoke contest will be held this Friday night at Pud’s near Brinson, its promoter, Ron Hathaway said. The contest has been held for the past six weeks, with each week’s winner to compete for the championship, which will begin at 9 p.m. Friday. Contestants are Luke Folsom of Moultrie, “Big John” Carver of Cairo, Leslie Bernier of Bainbridge, Megan Moore of Cairo, Kasey Smith of Bainbridge and Elaine Jones of Cairo. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
