Funeral services for Adell W. Washington, 56, of Atlanta, Ga., will be held Saturday, May 15, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John H. Wooden officiating.

Interment will follow in Jonas Lobe Cemetery with friends of Mrs. Washington’s family serving as active pallbearers.

Born Dec. 4, 1953, in Bainbridge, Mrs. Washington died on Saturday, May 8, 2010, in Atlanta, Ga.

Mrs. Washington formerly worked for Amoco Fabrics and Fibers.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearlie Mae Washington.

Survivors include her father, Willie Washington of Bainbridge; three children, Ekemi Howard of Union City, Ga., Brian Howard of Bainbridge and LaSonda Boddie of Dallas, Ga.; two sisters, Annie Ruth Bennett and Brenda Betsey, both of Bainbridge; two brothers, Odell Washington of Bainbridge and James Washington of Los Angeles, Calif.; two goddaughters, her granddaughter, Bria Smith of Union City, Ga., as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
