 Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church—The deaconess board of the church, located at 849 Martin Luther King Dr., will hold its pre-Mother’s Day breakfast on Saturday, May 8, beginning at 9 a.m. Tickets are $5 per person. Linda Lumpkin will be the speaker.

 New Messiah M.B. Church—The church, located at 1300 E. River Road in Bainbridge, will have its annual choir anniversary on Saturday, May 8, beginning at 7 p.m. The Rev. Alfred Smith III is the pastor.

 Day Spring A.M.E. Church—The church, located at 934 Salem Church Road in Climax, will hold its Mother’s Day program on Sunday, May 9, beginning at 11 a.m. with Verna “Patsy” Barnwell the speaker.

 New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ—The church, located at 652 Waugana Road in Attapulgus, will have its Mother’s Day program on Sunday, May 9, at 11:30 a.m. with sister Nellie Washington as the speaker.

 Faith Life Ministries—The ministry, located at 335 Colquitt Hwy. in Eldorndo, will have its Mother’s Day observance on Sunday, May 9, at 11:45 a.m. The Rev. Earl Hallman, pastor of Mount Zion M.B. Church in Damacus, Ga., will be the speaker. Clifford Burke Sr. is the pastor.

 Ford Chapel A.M.E. Church—The church, located at 427 College St. in Bainbridge, will have its Mother’s Day observance on Sunday, May 9, at 2 p.m. The theme is “Ladies in White.”

 Second St. James M.B. Church—The church, located at 1912 Potter St. in Bainbridge, will have revival from May 10-14 beginning at 7:30 p.m. daily. The Rev. J.W. Dean from Dothan, Ala., is the speaker. The Rev. Eugene Roberts is the pastor.

 Pleasant Hill M.B. Church—The church, located at Lane Powell Road in Eldorendo, will hold its revival meeting from May 10-14 beginning at 7:30 nightly.

 Salem M.B. Church—The church in Faceville will host the first Flint River Missionary Baptist Congress of Christian Education on May 14-15, with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. Registration is at 9 a.m.

 New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ—The church, located at 652 Waugana Road in Attapulgus, will holds a season tea on Saturday, May 22, beginning at 6 p.m. The theme is “It’s not by chance.” Evangelist Janice Horne will be the speaker.
