Prough, Carter bass Friday leaders

Chad Prough of Chipley, Fla., and Allen Carter of Bainbridge, with 38 pounds, 1 ounce, and 28 pounds, 8 ounces, are the angler and co-angler leaders following Friday’s second day of competition in the Forest L. Woods FLW American Fishing Series Tournament on Lake Seminole.
There are 98 anglers and 92 co-anglers competing in the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Tournament, which concludes today with competition among the top 10 anglers and top 10 co-anglers. Weigh-in will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Earle May Boat Basin.
Second through fifth among the anglers going into today’s competition are Donny Bass of Fort Myers, Fla., with 38 pounds, David Mock of Tallahassee, Fla., with 37 pounds, 6 ounces, Frank Jordan Jr. of Bainbridge with 36 pounds, 14 ounces and Mason Brock of Marianna, Fla., with 34 pounds, 14 ounces.
Anglers taking sixth through 10th places were Keith Pace of Monticello, Ark., with 34 pounds, 5 ounces, Ty Solis of Albany with 34 pounds, 1 ounce, Chris Weber of Fort Myers Beach, Fla., with 34 pounds, Kevin Snider of Elizabethtown, Ky., with 33 pounds, 11 ounces and John Bitter of Maitland, Fla., with 31 pounds, 14 ounces.
Second through fifth places among the co-anglers after two days are being held down by Carrie Bronson of Polk City, Fla., with 28 pounds, 3 ounces, Jamie Bladow of Houston, Ala., with 23 pounds, 15 ounces, Ernie Hillebrandt of Natchez, Miss., with 23 pounds, 11 ounces and Mark Svendsen of Doraville, Ga., with 22 pounds, 15 ounces.
Co-anglers taking sixth through 10th places are Lee Nunnally of Monroe, Ga., with 22 pounds, 5 ounces, Mitch Reynolds of Petal, Miss., with 20 pounds, 12 ounces, Howard Poitevint of Bainbridge with 20 pounds, 11 ounces, Steve Harwood of Weaverville, N.C., with 19 pounds, 12 ounces and George Kapiton of Inverness, Fla., with 19 pounds, 10 ounces.
