Leroy Stromer

Funeral services for Leroy “Bozzie” Stromer, 64, of Colquitt, Ga., were held Thursday, April 22, at Bethel M.B. Church in Colquitt with Pastor Edward Williams officiating.
Interment followed in Rocky Cemetery in Colquitt with Charles Grant, Derrick Bush, Marshae Stromer, Tracy Stromer, Ralph Warren and Gary Shepard serving as active pallbearers.
Born March 24, 1946, in Colquitt, Mr. Stromer died on April 15, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Stromer attended school at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed at Wilkins Farms for 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Ruth Smith, a bother, two sisters, three daughters and a grandson.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Cherlyn Ann Stromer; three daughters, Theresa Warren and Stacy Stromer, both of Colquitt, and Rosaland Snelling of Morgan, Ga.; two sons, Tracy Stromer Sr. of Colquitt and Donald Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, John Lester Butler of Newton, Larry Walker and Charles Stromer, both of Colquitt; two special friends, Geraldine Warren and Mary Perkins, both of Colquitt; as well as two God children, 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
