City of Bainbridge Street Department workers spent half a day Friday scraping the asphalt off the top of old brick pavers on Water Street between West and Crawford streets. Officials said the bricks looked good except for a few small patches. That section of the street was to be a test section of how easy if was to expose the bricks and what condition the bricks are in once exposed.
