A memorial service for W.J. “Turk” Jerrels, 67, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be held on Wednesday, April 21, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Ivey Funeral Home.

Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.

Born Dec. 14, 1942, in Chiefland, Fla., Mr. Jerrels died on Friday, April 16, 2010.

Mr. Jerrels was a graduate of Chiefland High School and was service manager for Georgia-Florida Harvestore for many years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sons, Jeff Jerrels of Gainesville, Fla., Warren Jerrels of Orlando, Fla., and Chris Zunk of Tallahassee, Fla.; his daughter, Monica Jerrels of Tallahassee, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
