Rather new sidewalk bench missing from front of Bon Air. Hmm … called City Hall and told the city is replacing all the benches. Hmm again: why?

The benches looked pretty good to me and not that old.

Who gets the “old” ones?

How much will the City get if they’re “re-sold?”

How much will all the new ones cost?

Not a big deal, huh? But in extremely bad financial times, I have a mind that says any unnecessary deal is a big bad deal.
