A funeral service for Mr. Donald E. Wells, 60, of Bainbridge, will be held Thursday, April 22, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Hatchett and Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home.

Born December 8, 1949 in Bainbridge, Mr. Wells passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Wells was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1968, and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Wells of Bainbridge; his sons, Donald Wells Jr. of Albany, Ga., Dexter Wells of Hamilton, Ga., and Corey Wells of Bainbridge; his step-daughters, Becky Deese and Tiffany Deese, both of Bainbridge; his father, F. E. “Jimmy” Wells of Bainbridge; his brother, Chuck Wells of Bainbridge; his sisters, Sandra Heath and Sheila Edwards, both of Bainbridge; and his granddaughter.
