On Jan. 29, students and teachers at John Johnson Elementary School participated in their annual Hat Day contest to raise money for this year’s Relay for Life. Students contribute 50 cents in order to wear their hat and then judging is done in several different categories including the smallest, largest, tallest hats, most creative (must be made by the child), most unusual, best winter themed hat, and of course the best teacher hat! The school raised more than $150 for Relay for Life.
