A 25-year-old Bainbridge man reported being mugged by four attackers just after 12 a.m. Sunday, according to Bainbridge Public Safety.

The victim, who spoke through a translator, told police four black men approached him while he was walking on Scott Street, south of Shotwell Street. One of the attackers, who demanded the man’s money, had a handgun, while another had a knife. One of the men punched the victim in the nose and the man with the gun struck him in the back of the head.

The robbers then took his money and fled on foot. The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
