Funeral services for Robert Antonio Anderson, 47, of the Cyrene community of Decatur County, were held Wednesday, April 7, at Miracle Deliverance Center with the Rev. Antonio Jacobs officiating.
Interment followed in Jonas Lobe Cemetery with Charlie Brown, Marcel Brown, David Cull, Samuel Henry, Ozell Samuel and Chris Williams serving as active pallbearers.
Born Sept. 9, 1962, in Jamaica, Mr. Anderson died on March 31, 2010.
Mr. Anderson was educated in the Jamaican school system, where he attended Clarendon. During his life, Mr. Anderson worked for Diamond’s Farm for 14 years and for Steve Davis Construction for 11 years.
Survivors include a devoted friend, Gloroy Thompson; two sons, Jeremy Anderson and Jeffery Anderson; three daughters, Judene Anderson, Juyan Anderson and Shannon Anderson; two stepsons, Lawayne O’Neal Davis and David Harper III, both of Cyrene; a stepdaughter, Seaesther Thompson of Cyrene; a special niece, Taishia Andrews of Cyrene; 10 grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
