This week again has been mixed down in wind, rain and more wind.
On Tuesday, a couple of guys from Louisville, Ky., took bass at ease with several 5 to 7 pounds. Two Atlanta men fishen took 21 bass, 5 and 7 pounds and lots of buck bass. This same two men took 16 bass and several Jack fish on spinner baits. Thursday seven bass were taken on traps up to 5 pounds, eight bass in one boat up to 6 pounds, 15 bass taken on traps, all buck bass, all released. Thirty bass taken spinner baits, all released. Eighteen bass taken Friday, all released, on spinner baits.

Brian Jennigan, age 12, and Dylan Bethea of Walnut Hills, Fla., caught 100 crappie, bream and shellcrackers on jigs with their feathers. Ten-year-old Austen Fink, fishen with his Dad James and Taurus Chapman 30 perch, six bass and big catfish Saturday, James and Austin from Pensacola, Fla., Chapman from Jacksonville, Fla.
Jessica Avant shot her third turkey within three years with one shot each. The thing is this year she’s eight months pregnant. I guess that baby will hunt and fish, also.
