Holy Week begins Monday

On Monday, March 29, Holy Week services begin.
Sponsored by the Bainbridge Ministerial Association, Monday and Tuesday’s services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, which will be sponsored by Sutton Chapel UMC and First Christian Church.
Wednesday’s service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, which is sponsored by First Presbyterian and St. Joseph’s Catholic.
Thursday’s service will be held at First Baptist Church, and it will sponsored by First Baptist and West Bainbridge United Methodist churches.
Friday’s service will be held at Bainbridge Church of God.
Lunches will be served for a $3 charge. Lunch begins at 11:45 and the services begin at 12:20 with a dismissal at 12:50.
Additional Holy Week Services include Monday through Thursday at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 6:30 p.m. nightly; Friday will consist of a Tenebrae Service at First United Methodist at 7 p.m.; a Good Friday Service at St. John’s Episcopal at 6:30 p.m., and a Good Friday Service at First Christian Church at 7 p.m.
An Easter Prayer Vigil will be held at St. John’s Episcopal on Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m.
Sunday will consist of a Community Sunrise Service at the Airport at 7 a.m.; an Easter Vigil at St. John’s Episcopal at 8 a.m., and The Eucharist at St. John’s Episcopal at 9:30 a.m.
