Funeral services for Roy Randy Durham, 65, of Brinson were held Monday, March 22, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Miller officiating.

Interment followed at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Ronnie Williams, Dan Ward, Ed Smith and Grady Miller serving as active pallbearers.

Born June 21, 1944, in Decatur County, Mr. Durham died on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. Durham was a carpenter for many years and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Johnson Durham.

Survivors include his daughter, Shelia Odom of Panama City, Fla.; his son, Roy Randy Durham Jr. of Panama City, Fla.; his sister, Betty Jo Mathis of Pansey, Ala.; a special cousin, Billy Griffin of Brinson; his niece, Cathy Brunson of Pansey, Ala.; his nephew, Ronnie Williams of Cottonwood, Ala.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
