Hazel Watson

A graveside funeral service for Hazel W. Watson, 85, of Colquitt, Ga., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery near Colquitt with the Rev. Hoyt Donley officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Born Aug. 17, 1924, in Sharon, Tenn., Mrs. Watson died on Friday, March 19, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Watson served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, was a homemaker, and a member of County Line Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland C. Watson.

Survivors include two sons, Samuel C. Watson and Thomas C. Watson, both of Colquitt; two daughters, Barbara Corder of Cairo, Ga., and Charleen Evans of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister, Irene Miller of Martin, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; as well as many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
