Spring is almost here, and Downtown Bainbridge will again host a monthly farmer’s market.

The opening day is scheduled for Saturday, April 3, at Willis Park in downtown Bainbridge from 9 a.m. until noon.

The farmer’s market will continue to be held on the first Saturday of each month until November.

Partnering with “Georgia Made, Georgia Grown,” the market has been expanded to include more than just locally grown food items; there will be handmade soaps, jellies and even handcrafted hair accessories!

The market will also showcase delicious local produce and attractive plants and blooms.

The “Georgia Made, Georgia Grown” concept will only feature artisans and new items that have been meticulously crafted or grown in our state.

The City of Bainbridge’s Downtown Manager Dit Albritton is leading this effort.

“We are looking forward to expanding the market to serve the growers, artisans and the community at large,” Albritton said. “With the combination of both home-grown and homemade items, the market will hopefully be very well received and grow to its full potential.”

Please join us as we celebrate Bainbridge’s finest local products and crafts in the beautiful setting of Willis Park on Saturday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to noon.
