Funeral services for Lt. Robert L. Marshall, 56, of Decatur County, were held Monday, March 8, at Mount Hosea Missionary Baptist Church in Quincy, Fla., with Evangelist Deloris Parker and the Rev. T.C. Smith officiating.
Interment followed in the church’s cemetery with correctional officers from the Decatur County Prison serving as active pallbearers.
Born July 13, 1953, in Quincy, Fla., Mr. Marshall died on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Marshall attended the public schools of Gadsden County, Fla. He worked for many years at the Decatur County Prison.
Survivors include his wife, Annie L. Marshall; two daughters, Kim Hill of Bainbridge and Carlas Daniels of Quincy, Fla.; two sons, Timothy Marshall of Gretna, Fla., and Roderick Marshall of Tallahassee, Fla.; a godson, Khiry Valentine of Bainbridge; three brothers, Fred Marshall, Leroy Marshall and Billie Marshall, all of Quincy; two sisters, Hasile Norris of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Erma Favors of Quincy; seven grandchildren, his godmother, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, a mother-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
