A memorial service for Charlotte Haire Williamson, 80, of Bainbridge, was held Sunday, March 7, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen L. Webb officiating.

Born Sept. 22, 1929, in Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Williamson died on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla.

Mrs. Williamson was a graduate of North Fulton High School and attended North Georgia College. She was a bookkeeper for Flint River Mills for 28 years and a member of First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana W. Blackmon.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Jack William Williamson of Bainbridge; her son, Billy Williamson of Bainbridge; her daughters, Jackie W. Lee of St. Simons Island, Ga., Becky Griffin and Charla Williamson, both of Bainbridge; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
