Services honoring the life of Binton McLendon, 59, of Albany, Ga., will be conducted Monday, March 8, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home in Albany, Ga., with the Rev. Frank Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow in the Wrights Chapel Cemetery in Worth County.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.

Born on June 28, 1950, in Colquitt, Ga., Mr. McLendon died on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga.

Mr. McLendon was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Albany, enjoyed walking and loved his entire family.

Survivors include three daughters, Mandy McLendon, Angel McLendon and Hope McLendon; a son, Roger McLendon; three brothers, David McLendon of Iron City, Ga., Carol McLendon of Bainbridge, and his twin brother, Hinton McLendon of Albany; three sisters, Dorothy Martin of Albany and Pat Hughes and Brenda Wilson, both of Fort Gaines, Ga.; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Hall and Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
