Funeral services for Peggy Peterson Henry, 73, of Colquitt, Ga., were held Monday, March 1, at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Barwick officiating.
Interment followed at Gordon Cemetery with Leslie Maples, Richard Peterson, Wayne Womble, Curt Peterson, Henry Worsley and Chris Moore serving as active pallbearers.
Born Jan. 18, 1937, in Colquitt, Ga., Ms. Peterson died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at her residence.
Ms. Henry was a retired manager of the bakery at Wilkin’s IGA, and was a member of the Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Henry.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Donalson of Bainbridge and Wanda Jones of Baxley, Ga.; two sons, Bruce Henry and Jim Henry, both of Colquitt, Ga.; two brothers, Henry Peterson of Colquitt and Charles Peterson of Leesburg, Ga.; a sister, Mable McGriff of Blakely, Ga.; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Colquitt Funeral Home in was in charge of arrangements.
