A Mass of Christian burial for Rose Josephine Andrews Dore’, 88, of Jacksonville, Fla., was offered Feb. 3 at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Jacksonville with Father Luke McLaughlin as celebrant.

Interment followed in Jacksonville Memory Gardens, in Orange Park, Fla.

The family received friends at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Tuesday, Feb. 2, followed by a Scriptural Rosary.

Born Aug. 21, 1921, in Candor, N.Y., Mrs. Dore’ passed from this life on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, in her 88th year.

Mrs. Dore’ was baptized Dec. 14, 1921, confirmed in 1935, and married Aug. 21, 1942, in the Catholic Church.

Mrs. Dore’ was predeceased by her devoted husband of 49 years, Cleveland Henry Dore’, Jr.; her parents, Ignatius (1959) and Marcianna (1974) Andrews (Andreski), both immigrants from Poland; her brothers, Benjamin, Ignatius and Anthony Andrews; her sisters, Mary Andrews, Theresa Krawic, Julia Fidurski and Sophia McNeil.

Survivors include her sons, Jean Dore’ and his wife, Soo Un, and Christian Dore’ of Jacksonville; daughters, Marcianna Jammes and her husband, Larry, of Archibald, La.; Judi Ivey and husband, Roger, of Bainbridge; Christina Dore’ of Trenton, Fla.; Lynette Clemons and her husband, John, of Starke, Fla.; Sylvia Wilkerson and her husband, Earl of Lawtey, Fla.; India Kurtz and her husband, Bascom, and Lisa King and her husband Dan, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; brothers, Konstanty Andrew and his wife, Helen, of Owego, N.Y., and Stanley Andrews of Candor, N.Y.; grandchildren, Andrea and Jo Henry Jammes of Archibald, La.; James Dore’, Karrie Wilkerson Sarah Reavis and Travis and Danielle King, all of Jacksonville, Jennifer Smith of Middleburg, Fla., Tommy Asian of Newberry, Fla., Anthony Asian of Trenton, Fla., Tiffany Bellucci of Delaware, Ohio, Angela Toothaker of Austin, Colo., Renee Burroughs of St. George, Ga., Sheila Kerce of Lake Butler, Fla., Glen and Steven Wilkerson and Amanda Moppert, all of Lawtey, Fla., Chelsea and Christopher Dore’ of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Fraser Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
