Jimmie Glisson was selected as the outstanding student in the Decatur County Adult Education Program, which serves the counties of Decatur, Early, Miller and Seminole. She attended the class at Bainbridge College with teacher Patsy Gibbs and assistant Mary Venisee to prepare for the GED tests. This class is a partnership between the Decatur County Schools Adult Education Program and Bainbridge College. Glisson achieved the GED diploma and is attending college to pursue a degree in teaching. In recognition of her outstanding qualities and achievement she received an EAGLE statue and medallion.
