An appeal

As a member of the Bainbridge High School Class of 2010, it greatly saddens me to know that we, the graduates, apparently have little to no say in the location of our own graduation ceremony.
We have respectfully presented the opinion of the vast majority of our class, that graduation be moved back to Centennial Field, to both the Decatur County Board of Education and the BHS School Council, but only to no avail thus far.
I am writing this on behalf of the Class of 2010 to appeal to the citizens of Decatur County and the alumni of BHS; for those of you who still remember the feeling of marching across Centennial Field during your graduation ceremony and still cherish those memories or have attended a ceremony in the past and saw how important it is to the graduates, we are asking you to help us make our own graduation ceremony as memorable as the ceremonies of the past. Apparently, the opinion of my fellow graduates and I is not enough to keep the Centennial Field tradition alive, so we are asking for the support of our community.
If you feel as though the ceremony should remain at Centennial Field and would like to support the Class of 2010 in our efforts, please voice your opinion and let it be known, because we cannot do it without you. We graciously thank you for your support.
