Lions skeet shoot Feb. 6

The 11th annual Bainbridge Lions Club skeet shoot for sight will be Saturday, Feb. 6, at Jerry Sharber’s Range on Sharber Road.

Proceeds from the annual shoot will enable the Lions Club to provide glasses, hearing aids and optical operations to needy individuals.

Entry fee is $250 for each four-person team. Ten teams have already committed and three team slots are still available. Entry fees and team rosters must be submitted on or before Friday, Jan. 29.

Committed teams include Farm Bureau, Harrell King Heating and Air, Southern Triad, Calvary Lions Club and Circle B Construction.

Teams also committed are Bainbridge Vision Clinic, Todd Martin State Farm Insurance, Georgia Gulf Sulphur, Southwest Georgia Farm Credit and Five Star Credit Union.

Individuals and businesses donating $100 or more can become sponsors.

Anyone interested in entering a team in the skeet shoot or becoming a sponsor can call chairman Don Sickmon at 465-3366 or 220-5886.

Each team must supply its own guns and ammunition and high individual scorers from the A and B class will receive plaques. Each team member from the A and B teams with the highest team scores will receive plaques. Each team and shooter must observe all rules of the range to ensure a safe event.
