Funeral services for Wallace G. Shrader, 90, of Bainbridge, will be held Friday, Jan. 8, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ivey Funeral Home with the Revs. Paul Medley and Harold Burrell officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo, Ga.
Born May 30, 1919, in Chattanooga, Tenn., Mr. Shrader died on Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home in Bainbridge.
Mr. Shrader was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired representative with Independent Life and Accident Insurance Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two wives, Lilyan S. Shrader and Helen Lane Shrader.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lane Fudge of Colquitt, Ga., and Nora Lane Knowles of Gulfport, Miss.; a son, Sadi Hasona of Bainbridge; two brothers, Clive Shrader of Miami, Fla., and Barnard Shrader of Warrenton, Va.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
