Mount Zuma M.B. Church—The church, located 2015 Vada Hwy., will have Watch Night Services on Thursday, Dec. 31, beginning at 9 p.m. The Rev. Tyrone Jacobs and William Morris, and minister Ricky Faircloth will be the speakers.
Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church—The church will hold its Watch Night Service on Thursday, Dec. 31, at 10 p.m.
Travelers Rest M.B. Church—The church, located at 661 Cal Thomas Road in Whigham, will have Watch Night Services on Thursday, Dec. 31, beginning at 10 p.m. The Rev. Golden Sheppard is the pastor.
St. James Missionary and Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church—The churches will have Watch Night Service on Thursday, Dec. 31, beginning at 10 p.m. The services will be held at 1912 S. Potter St. The Rev. Eugene Roberts is the pastor.
St. Thomas M.B. Church—The church, locate at 198 Edward Road in Fowlstown, will have a prayer breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 2, at 9 a.m. The public is invited.
Travelers Rest M.B. Church—The church, located at 661 Cal Thomas Road, will have old-fashioned day on Sunday, Jan. 3, beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Golden Sheppard Jr. is the pastor.
Boykin Church of God—The church, located on Babcock Road, will host a revival on Sunday, Jan. 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Monday through Wednesday, Jan. 4-6, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Evangelist Brian Boutwell is the speaker. The Rev. Thomas Lanier is the pastor.
Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church—The church, located at 1408 Pine Hill Road in Bainbridge, will have its pastor’s installation services on Sunday, Jan. 3, at 3 p.m. the Rev. John H. Malone Jr. has served as interim pastor at Pine Hill for the past three years.
Southwest Baptist Church—The church, located at 1101 Faceville Hwy., will start its 10-week Beth Moore Bible Study of Esther on Tuesday, Jan. 5, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Oak Grove M.B. Church—The church, located in Fowlstown, will mark its pastor’s anniversary, the Rev. Johnny Brown, on Wednesday, Jan. 6, beginning at 7 p.m. The Rev. Harry Mitchell will be the guest speaker, and Mount Zuma M.B. Church is in charge of the services.
New Home Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located in Vada, Ga., will have a benefit gospel sing for Darly and Beverly Cumbie on Saturday, Jan. 9. Daryl Cumbie was injured in an automobile accident and is unable to work. The featured singers are the Parish Family.
Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located at 1810 S. West St. in Bainbridge, will have Family and Friends Day on Sunday, Jan. 24, beginning at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. Jerome Severson is the pastor.
St. Paul M.B. Church—The church, located at 2714 Thomasville Hwy., will hold its single ministry worship and gala on Feb. 12 beginning at 6 p.m., and on Feb. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Rev. John Wooden is the pastor.
