Graveside services for Johnnie Delaney Fleetwood, 76, of Metter, Ga., were held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Meigs, Ga. with the Rev. Jimmy Burt officiating.

Born on Aug. 28, 1933, in Meigs, Mr. Fleetwood died on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Metter, Ga.

Mr. Fleetwood was retired from Metcalf Lumber Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Fleetwood.

Survivors include a son, Jackie Fleetwood of Bainbridge, Ga.; step-children, Linda Justice of Fitzgerald, Ga., Barbara Howington of Forsyth, Ga., Debra Phillips of Cairo, Ga., Bobby Burt of Lynn Haven, Fla., Jimmy Burt of Valdosta, Ga., Keith Burt of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ricky Burt of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home in Cairo, Ga., was in charge of funeral arrangements.
