Trail’s End changes management

Trail’s End Resort and Marina, located on the Chattahoochee River, recently announce several management changes.

Ron and Tracy Smith were named as resort managers. Owner Lucas Stewart said they come with experience in the hospitality business.

Pop’s Dockside Grill and Bar is under new management from long-time locals as Kristin and Todd Hatcher along with partners Kimberly and Josh Gautney have leased the restaurant, Stewart said. With this addition, a new menu with extended hours are offered. The restaurant is now open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch and Thursday through Saturday for dinner. The Sunday buffet and seafood buffet is also returning at the beginning of the new year.

The campground is also in negotiations to become a Yogi Bear Jelly stone-affiliated park. Yogi Bear is the second largest franchisee of RV parks in the United States, Stewart said.
