Dancing Cloud Farm Horse Rescue gets boost

Just three weeks ago, Bainbridge High School teacher Terri McNease started taking donations and spare change from her Spanish and ESOL classes for the Dancing Cloud Farm Horse Rescue, a non-profit organization that takes care of mistreated, starving, neglected horses or ones their owners can’t afford.
For example, one horse was brought to the rescue farm in July.
They named her Miracle because it’s a miracle she survived.
She had rain rot, her chest was only 7 inches, she had a terrible respiratory infection, and she staggered and stumbled.
Just one year later, she has gained the weight she needed and she is in a loving home forever.
On Dec. 16, H.B. Peterson, Kendall Pope, Kiara Munoz, Amadelia Barrios, Martin Anderson, Shauna Culverson, Madison Helms, Lindsey Kennedy and Mrs. McNease presented $105 to Anita Meison, the owner of Dancing Cloud Farm Horse Rescue and a former teacher.
The money will help pay for veterinary costs and feed for new horses.
