In what some say were some of the worst conditions yet for a biker toy run, on Saturday about a dozen bikers saddled up and still rode their motorcycles from The Charter House Inn to the BikeFest grounds despite the cold rain. “We’ve got some diehards,” said Phillip Hornsby, president of the Deep South Riders, which annually hosts a toy run that collects new gifts to be distributed to needy children by the Salvation Army.
