Douglas, Mayfield Swine Time Run winners

Climax native Isaiah Douglas of Savannah won his fourth Swine Time Festival Run in his hometown Saturday morning, out-distancing a record 117-runner field and competing the 5,000-meter, 3.1-mile course in a time of 18 minutes, 11 seconds.
The female championship was won by McRae Mayfield, a seventh-grader who works out with the Lovett High School soccer team in Atlanta.
Douglas, who has run the Boston Marathon 14 times, is a heavy equipment operator in Savannah, Ga., and a volunteer track coach at Savannah State University.
Both runners said they thought the course, which had a steep hill coming back, was very challenging.
Jack McRae won the 13-year-old and under male division title with a time of 23:41. Overall female winner Mayfield was also the top finisher in the 13-and-under female division.The 14-to-19-year-old male and female titles were taken by Caleb Alte and Anna Shoubert in times of 18:53 and 24:42.
Capturing the top spots in the 20- to 29-year-old male and female divisions were Evan Beauchamp and Jessica Harrison in times of 19:51 and 25:49.
Noah St. John and Jennifer Lusk captured first places in the 30- to 39-year-old male and female divisions in times of 19:58 and 25:09.
Overall winner Douglas was also the top finisher in the 40-to-49-year-old male division. The 40- to 49-year-old female division title was captured by Angie Putman with a time of 24:08. Jay Herring won the 50-to-59-year-old male division title in a time of 21:30 and Linda Wann won the 50- to 59-year-old female division title in a time of 26:45.
Dr.David Buz Beauchamp won the 60-to69-year-old male division title in a time of 29:53 and Pee Wee Lambert won the 60- to 69-year-old female division title in a time of 47:19,
Bill deGrummond won the 70-year-old abnd older male division title in a time of 44:10 and and Carol Musgrove won the 70-year-old and older female division title in a time of 35:16.
