Mary Gant, GED chief examiner, received a pin for 21 years of service and Gwendolyn Conyers, GED examiner, received a pin for 17 years of service. The Decatur County Schools GED Testing Center received a plaque in recognition as one of the top three medium-sized centers for largest growth in number of GED test-takers between 2007 and 2008. In 2008 the GED Testing Center received a plaque for the largest number of candidates tested in 2007.
