Election Day is Tuesday

The general municipal elections for Bainbridge and Climax will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Polling places in Bainbridge and Climax will be open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Citizens who formerly voted at the West Bainbridge fire station should instead go to the cafeteria of the former West Bainbridge Middle School, located at the junction of Dothan and Spring Creek roads.

The other polling places for the Bainbridge election are the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum, located at 600 Wheat Ave. next to Bainbridge Middle School; Fairgrounds, located at 1211 Vada Road at the County Fairgrounds; and for Rivervale subdivision residents who live within city limits only, the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department, located at 119 Deese Road, will be open for voting.

Registered voters in Climax should go to the Climax Volunteer Fire Department at 402 W. Lee St. in Climax.

Registered voters must show photo identification when voting in person, including

 Georgia driver’s licenses (either valid or unexpired);

 Valid ID card issued by the federal government or State of Georgia;

 Valid ID card for employees of the federal, state or any local government;

 Valid U.S. passports, military photo IDs, valid tribal photo ID.
