Funeral services for Anna Burke Reese Wilson, 50, of Bainbridge, were held Saturday, Oct. 17, at Corner Stone Bible Fellowship in Miami, Fla., with the Rev. John Q. Graves officiating.

Interment followed in Dade Memorial Park North in Miami with Quincy Bryant, Levi Bryant, Joseph Thompson, Norris Reese and Deon Williams serving as active pallbearers.

Born March 9, 1959, Mrs. Wilson died Oct. 9, 2009, in Miami, Fla.

Mrs. Wilson grew up in Miami, Fla., then moved to Bainbridge when she married her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leon Reese.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Wilson of Bainbridge; six sisters, Willie Pearl Lacey, Alma Jean Brown, Dorothy Reese, Ruthie Elaine Reese, Joann Reese-Pierre and Gladys Brown-Bowden; four brothers, Ralph Reese, Leonard Reese, Charlie Reese and Joseph Reese; her godson, Dion Williams; a special friend, Evelyn “Sister” Hughes; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Wright and Young Funeral Home in Miami, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
