Decatur County Fall Festival and Fair is almost here

If you’re heading to the fair this year, be sure to get your gate admissions and ride tickets now and save money.

Early bird tickets are now on sale for the Decatur County Fall Festival and Fair, Nov., 3-7.

Gate admission tickets during the nights of the Fair are $4, but you can buy them now for $3 and they are good any night. Armbands to ride all the rides all night long are $16, but you can get them now for $12.

To get your presale tickets, visit any bank, Bainbridge Pharmacy, RX Drugs, Health Products & Yogurt Too, Memorial Hospital and Manor gift shop, the Welcome Center or the Chamber of Commerce.

Rides on the midway this year will be provided by Family Attractions Amusement Company, returning for a third year. There are new rides, more kiddie attractions and of course, carnival food.

The Old-Fashioned Fair will be back again this year with all new categories. In addition to the pies, cakes, jams and jellies, we’ve added breads, quilts and pickled products. So start baking, canning and quilting so that you can compete for the blue ribbon.

You don’t want to miss all the exciting kids’ activities.

Tallahassee Museum and Birdsong Nature Center will be on hand with activities for the kids. There will be a petting zoo, clown, Medieval fighting, and on Friday and Saturday, be sure to come and see the Racing Pigs.
