Funeral services for Kathryn Elizabeth “Katie Beth” Brown, 22 months, of Bainbridge will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. at Morningside Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Dean officiating.

Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, with Cody Hutson, Jonathan Boyd, Jay Powell and Ricky Brown serving as active palbearers.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Cox-Ware Funeral Home.

Born Dec. 10, 2007 in Cumberland County, N.C., Miss Brown died on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.

Miss Brown attended Morningside Baptist Church and Little Blessings Day Care.

Survivors include her parents, Duwaine and Elizabeth Powell Brown of Bainbridge; one sister, Taylor Brown of Bainbridge; maternal grandparents Kelly and Kevin Harvey of Bainbridge, June Crosby of Moultrie and the late Roger Crosby, and Tommy and Kaye Thomas of Moultrie; maternal great-grandfather Billy Harvey of Bainbridge; paternal grandparents Chekeetta and Ricky Brown of Aberdeen, Miss.; paternal great-grandparents Patricia James of Aberdeen, Miss., and Wesley James of Booneville, Miss.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
