The unbeaten Bainbridge High School Bearcats football team are still in the media spotlight as they head for a showdown in Macon against unbeaten Westside High School.

This week, the Bainbridge Bearcats are ranked No. 6 among Class AAAA teams in the Georgia Sportswriters Association poll, No. 6 in the Coaches’ Association poll and No. 8 in the Georgia High School Football Daily/Atlanta Journal-Constitution rankings.

Thanks to the four Bearcats alumni who played in the Georgia-Arkansas college football game last Saturday, Bainbridge was mentioned on ESPN’s national telecast of the game.
