Funeral services for Nikki Rogers Griffin, 22, of Bainbridge, were held Friday, Sept. 18, at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Grubbs officiating.
Interment followed at Oak City Cemetery with Austin Griffin, Brandon Griffin, Ryan Griffin, Eddie Moore, Spencer Crowe and Chad Matthews serving as active pallbearers.
Born Aug. 2, 1987, in Decatur County, Ga., Ms. Griffin died on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in Tallahassee, Fla.
Ms. Griffin attended Bainbridge High School until moving to Wakulla County, Fla., where she graduated from Wakulla High School. She has lived most all of her life in Bainbridge and was of the Nazarene faith. She enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a talented artist.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilee Moore Griffin.
Survivors include her father, Donnie Roger of Crawfordville, Fla.; best friend and companion, Justin Edmonds of Donalsonville, Ga.; two sons, Nicholas and Justin “Buck” Edmonds of Donalsonville; a sister, Sara Griffin of Bainbridge; a brother, Bubba Griffin of Bainbridge; her step-father, Gerald Griffin of Bainbridge; maternal grandparents Ed and Sharon Moore of Colquitt; paternal grandparents Ruth Houghteling of Asheville, N.C., and Ed and Doris Griffin of Bainbridge; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
